Korn Stream New Single ‘Never Never’

Nu metal survivors Korn are back, streaming a brand new single Never Never on their Facebook page, a sample of what’s to come from the quintet’s 11th studio album, The Paradigm Shift, which is scheduled for release this October.

Never Never is a return to form for the Californians, veering away from 2011′s dubstep-infused The Path Of Totality, with a sound more evocative of their Follow The Leader-era material like Got The Life and Freak On A Leash. It’s also the first listen to material from Korn since guitarist Brian “Head” Welch rejoined, who’s undoubtedly an essential part of the group’s make up.

Frontman Jonathan Davis told Blabbermouth that Never Never is essentially a song about relationships:

“You go through that shit and you get hurt so bad. Then you think, ‘It’s not worth it anymore. I’m not going to fucking love again.’ You experience so many pressures to be a good dad, a good husband, a good lover, or whatever. Being in a relationship is a lot of work.”

You can take a listen to the song yourself by heading on over to the Korn Facebook page. The Paradigm Shift is set for release on 8th October.
