Major Lazer has dropped the video for Scare Me – Diplo and friends are taking a new direction away from the usual animation and booty-fests, casting some live action characters for the track, which features Peaches and is taken from their full-length offering, Free The Universe.
The Scare Me clip sees The Expendables‘ Terry Crews playing Major Lazer, complete with dreads and gun arm, brought back to life by the government after being cryogenically frozen. He’s on a mission to track down General Rubbish, a rotten warlord in possession of terralazer, and he’s gonna encounter some zombies, bikies, cheerleaders and everything else you could hope to come across in three and a half minutes of action heaven.
Major Lazer have had no shortage of video awesome this year, with their last offering being the Eric Wareheim-directed rear-jiggling frenzy of the Bubble Butt remix. You can catch the live Major Lazer show in all its twerkin’ glory next year at Big Day Out 2014.
