Violent Femmes To Play Self-Titled Debut In Full At Falls Festival 2013

Falls Festival organisers have confirmed today that one of the key pull factors on this years bill, the great Violent Femmes, will be performing their seminal self-titled debut album from start to finish.

Fans can now be assured they’ll be exposed to live renditions time-tested hits such as Blister In The Sun, Gone Daddy Gone and Add It Up, nestled in amongst those juicy deep cuts. The groundbreaking release dropped in 1983, soon to be superseded by a run of equally successful albums – though only one of them can claim that precious debut title.

When you consider this alongside the fact that Crystal Fighters, The Wombats, Grizzly Bear and Vampire Weekend will also be playing, tickets to the event will no doubt be a very hot commodity.

Ticketing ballots are already open and awaiting your subscription, which will put you in the running to get your hands on tickets before they go on general sale. You can enter the ballot over here and all entrants will know if they made the cut or not come Monday, 27th August.

You can check out the full lineup for the event after this jump as well as all the deets regarding their brand-new Byron Bay event after this one.
