Guns N’ Roses New Track ‘Going Down’ Leaks

A previously unheard song from cock rock legends Guns N’ Roses has surfaced online and then been pulled by the band’s record label, though it looks like they forgot to DELETE THE ENTIRE INTERNET, with Going Down popping back up here and there, and raising many a question about whether or not the band is working on new material.

The track features bassist Tommy Stinson on vocals with backing from frontman Axl Rose and sounds a bit more watered down than classic Gunners. We have no way of knowing whether the track was from an old session or is an indicator of things to come, although we do know it was the real deal, with Metal Insider reporting that guitarist Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal verified it on Twitter before deleting said tweet. Sounds like someone got a slap on the wrist from the powers-that-be.

Can we expect new GnR? If the 17-year wait between their last two albums was anything to go by, we’re gonna say no, although we’re open to a pleasant surprise. Guitarist Richard Fortus promised a 2014 release for the follow-up to 2008’s Chinese Democracy but we’ll believe it when we hear it.

Better catch the new track below before it disappears too.
