Eminem Announces ‘Marshall Mathers’ Follow-Up ‘MMLP2’ During VMAs

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for, though none of us knew about it – part two of Eminem’s chart topping, ground breaking third album Marshall Mathers LP, titled MMLP2, is on the way and will be released this year according to the rapper who broke the big news during the currently-in-progress MTV VMA Awards.

MMLP2, as it has been stylised, will be released internationally Tuesday, 2nd November putting a solid 13 years between the two albums. MMLP2 saw Shady working with the legendary Rick Rubin as well as long-term collaborator Dr. Dre.

In fact, the official album announcement was endorsed by Dre’s streaming service Beats, which we are yet to decide is cool or lame. You can watch the official spot, including a snippet of a new track, below.

Already we’ve heard Survivor from the album which will be a key feature in the upcoming Call Of Duty: Ghost, and as of Tuesday, 27th August AKA tomorrow, we will have the first official single from the album Berzerk.

The 8th studio offering from hip hop’s most famous hermit will follow on from 2010’s Recovery.
