Arctic Monkeys Drop New Track ‘Stop The World I Wanna Get Off With You’

Following their trend of delightfully convoluted song titles, British indie kings Arctic Monkeys have revealed another new track, today streaming Stop The World I Wanna Get Off With You, the B-side to single Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?

If this is the kind of track that didn’t make the final cut for upcoming fifth studio effort AM, we’re pretty damned excited about hearing the whole record ’cause Stop The World I Wanna Get Off With You is one seductive slice, backing up Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme‘s declaration that we should expect “a really cool, sexy after-midnight record.”

AM is scheduled for release Australia in just under a week, hitting your favourite record store on Friday, 6th September. And we should expect to see the Monkeys on our shores in 2014, with guitarist Jamie Cook recently declaring, “don’t worry, we’ll definitely be down there, hopefully when it’s warm.”
