Arctic Monkeys Unveil New Track ‘Arabella’ At Switzerland Festival

With their fifth studio album set for release this Friday, UK indie kings Arctic Monkeys have started debuting tracks from the upcoming record live, with the first of these, a track titled Arabella, seeing the light of day during the Arctics’ recent performance at Zurich’s Openair Festival.

Arctics frontman Alex Turner recently told NME that fans at their upcoming live shows will see Turner setting down his guitar in favour of more movement and dancing around. As you can see from the video below, the 27-year-old is certainly a lot more animated.

Dressed in an Elvis-inspired shimmering suit, Turner flails his arms and struts around the stage in a very Nick Cave-like manner, interacting with the crowd to ask them what they think of Arabella. In the video, fans can also get a peak at the glitzy, new Arctic Monkeys stage setup.

AM is slated for release this Friday, 6th September and will feature the singles R U Mine?, Do I Wanna Know?, and Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High? Guests on the album include now-frequent collaborator Josh Homme, as well as former Coral member Bill Ryder-Jones.

The band are set to embark on a nine date UK tour, but have assured Aussie fans that they will definitely be seeing them soon.
