Grouplove Stream New Album ‘Spreading Rumours’ And ‘Borderlines and Aliens’ Video

It’s a good day to be a fan of Grouplove, with the outfit releasing not just the music video for their single Borderlines And Aliens but also the whole of their upcoming album Spreading Rumours, which is now streaming online thanks to the good guys at NPR.

Borderlines And Aliens saw the band team up with artist Hannah Hooper, who crafted the tripped out world of the music video before it was handed to NYC-based animation studio Ace & Sons. The lush, flurry of sounds results in an eclectic mix of visuals, as we explore the illustrated world of the song.

You can now experience the track – and lead single Ways To Go – in the context of the rest of the record which seems to be a killer, with little to no filler. All signs so far indicate the hype in the wake of 2011’s Never Trust A Happy Song is going to be sustained.

The release is no doubt designed to soundtrack our activities during the coming warmer months, with the group heading Down Under to secure their place in our summer memories as part of the Big Day Out 2014 lineup. Thanks, Grouplove. Check out the new video and the album in its entirety below.
