Aussie indie outfit The Preatures have dropped some excellent news, revealing that they’ve signed with Harvest Records in the USA and will be releasing their sophomore EP Is This How You Feel? for those lucky Americans on 15th October, as well as hitting the country for some live shows.
The Sydney quintet are clearly blowing up worldwide – Harvest is an offshoot of the massive Capitol Records with a roster that features the likes of Death Grips and White Lies. The soulful kids will be playing a show in Los Angeles on the 14th October, followed by four dates in New York City, including the infamous Aussie BBQ, which showcases the best talent from Down Under.
It’s been a massive year for The Preatures, not only releasing Is This How You Feel? but also winning the prestigious Vanda & Young songwriting competition for the title track, collecting a cool $50k in the process. They also scored an opening slot for Pink on her record-breaking Aussie tour.
Ahem, not to mention that time when they stopped by Music Feeds Studio to play tracks off the EP – obvious career highlight right there.
