Hailing from Fremantle, five-piece Rainy Day Women have become experts in crafting sun-kissed melodies that sit atop summery jangles of guitar and bouncy drums, driven by an unmistakably West Coast pop groove. With lyrics that conjure images of balmy days spent lazing in the grass, Music Feeds Studio is about to invite the summer right into its hallowed halls.
Citing influences as varied as Fleetwood Mac, The Kooks, Cat Stevens, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Beach Boys, and obviously Bob Dylan, Rainy Day Women have some considerable pop-rock muscle to flex. Their formidable chops have seen them play sets at Southbound, Big Day Out and Laneway festivals.
