As I Lay Dying Vocalist To Stand Trial On Murder-For-Hire Charges

As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis has today learned that enough evidence has been gathered to push on with the case against the vocalist, in which he accused of attempting to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife. Come Tuesday, 22nd October, Lambesis will be arraigned and will be given his official court date where he will stand trial.

During a hearing that took place yesterday, several witnesses gave testimony, informing the decision of the judge who ruled that the trial was to go ahead. One of the witnesses was undercover police officer Howard Bradley, who told the court how he met Lambesis under the guise of being a contract killer.

Lambesis gave Bradley instructions to kill Meggan Lambesis, his then estranged wife. During the hearing Bradley also exposed their proposed arrangements which included providing a photo of the target as well as the ideal address and times for the hit to go down.

Lambesis was under house arrest sporting a GPS tracker since May of this year, but has been given some temporary reprieves.

The singer made his first public statement since the arrest back in July, and we gotta say…things aren’t looking good.
