The Jezabels New Album Due 2014, Single ‘The End’ Coming Next Month

Aussie expats and indie faves The Jezabels have popped their heads up from the studio in England, their new homeland, to update us on the progress of album number two, confirming that the as-yet-unnamed record is slated for an early 2014 release and teasing new single The End.

The band are officially playing with the big boys with their sophomore album, enlisting the help of producer Dan Grech-Marguerat. His fingerprints have appeared on releases from high profile international acts Moby, Scissors Sisters, Lana Del Rey, Keane, The Vaccines, The Kooks among others.

Following up 2011 debut LP Prisoner is sure to be no easy task. That particular release smashed the ARIA charts in its first week, climbing to #2 and shortly after earning the band a plethora of acronymic awards including ARIAs, AIRs and the coveted AMP.

It didn’t stop there, either. The album quickly found its way to gold status as the band’s international demand skyrocketed. The Jezabels managed to sell out tours both Down Under as well as Stateside with several European countries showing a equal level of support as they travelled the globe prove their mettle as a headlining act and festival feature.

The lead single from the new album, titled The End, can be expected to fill your ear holes by mid-October.
