Stream The New Korn Album ‘The Paradigm Shift’

The eleventh studio album from Californian nu-metal band Korn is now available to stream, in all its twisted goodness.

The Paradigm Shift will be the first Korn album in ten years to feature guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch, who left the band in 2005 to fight his meth problem and devote his life to Christianity. Frontman Jonathon Davis has admitted that much of The Paradigm Shift was influenced by his own battles with substance abuse.

Korn’s sound shifted dramatically with their 2011 album The Path of Totality, as the band experimented with electronic instrumentation and dubstep. From The Paradigm Shift’s lead singles, Never Never and Love & Meth, it’s clear that the band’s electronic side is still there, but it’s mixing more and more with the spiky nu-metal sound they’re known for.

Korn will embark on a global tour with their new material in tow, hitting Australian shores for Soundwave 2014 alongside Green Day, Avenged Sevenfold and a plethora of other bands.
