Sydney Singer-Songwriter Angie Streams New Album ‘Turning’

She’s been kicking around these parts for a while now with acts like Circle Pit, Southern Comfort, Ruined Fortune and Straight Arrows but Sydney singer-songwriter Angie is just about to be reborn again, releasing her debut long play Turning.

Turning is a collection of songs formed from travels through North America, Croatia, Cambodia and Turkey, as well as the melodies spurned from everyday life in Australia and features production by Owen Penglis of Straight Arrows and Lincoln Brown from Housewives.

The sweet, psychedelic daydream of a video for the track Parallels is out now, shot in Sydney, Broome and California, and you can stream the album in full below before its official release this Friday, 25th October. Turning will be available digitally through Rice is Nice and on 12″ vinyl by Easter Bilby.
