Sydney psychedelic rockers Jagwar Ma are the latest outfit to announce sideshows around their appearance at the 2014 Laneway Festival, with the trio today dropping the all-important tour dates where they’ll be doing their own headlining shows.
The trio are getting in a little early ahead of their Laneway dates, with Gabriel Winterfield, Jono Ma and new addition Jack Freeman getting things started in Melbourne on Thursday, 16th January before heading due north for a Sydney date on Friday, 17th January. They’ll be supported by Sydney-based, South-African born multi-instrumentalist Jonti.
Jagwar Ma dropped their debut album, Howlin’, to critical acclaim this year, winning many an outspoken fan, including Noel Gallagher, who’s had plenty of praise for the outfit.
Tickets for both shows go on sale from next Friday, 1st November.
