International Songwriting Competition Deadline Extended

Songwriters of the world, you now have less than week to submit your entry in the 2013 International Songwriting Competition, gunning for a chance to win over $150,000 in prizes and see your name next to previous winners like Gotye, Passenger, Gin Wigmore, Kasey Chambers and Kimbra.

And this year’s contest has become even easier to enter – as well as posting or emailing in your entry, you can also simply link to your Soundcloud, Bandcamp, YouTube or Facebook page. The International Songwriting Contest has an esteemed panel of judges for 2013, including Tom Waits, The Cure‘s Robert Smith, Imagine Dragons and Josh Turner, amongst many, many others.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a whopping $25,000 cash prize, as well as international recognition, exposure and publicity. Entries attract a $35 fee and now close this Monday, 4th November, with 68 winners to be announced over various categories. Semi-finalists and finalists will be announced in February and March of 2014, with winners to be announced in April.
