Sarah Blasko Announces Intimate Heavenly Sounds Shows For January

Heavenly Sounds, the series of gigs which sees artists perform in churches and cathedrals, have today announced that Sarah Blasko will be kicking off their 2014 lineup, with the indie sweetheart announcing dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.

The We Won’t Run singer kicked off the first ever Heavenly Sounds tour in 2011 with her side project Seeker Lover Keeper. Having just released her latest single Fool, as well as an EP of the same name featuring remixes by PVT and Seekae, Blasko says her 2014 shows will be in direct contrast to the orchestra tour she undertook earlier in 2013:

“These will be my last shows for ‘I Awake’, and really, what better place is there to sing (apart from the shower of course) than a beautiful church? I’ll be playing songs from all four albums and it’s likely to be the most intimate show of mine you’ll see for some time”.

Tickets for these intimate all ages shows go on sale through Ticketek at 12:00pm AEST on Monday, 25th November, while Heavenly Sounds mailing list members have their own pre-sale kicking off from Wednesday, 20th November.
