AJ Maddah Says “One Or Two” More Acts To Be Added To Big Day Out 2014

Soundwave promoter and now Big Day Out investor AJ Maddah has revealed that there are still more acts to be added to the Big Day Out 2014 lineup, via Twitter. Yesterday, the second lineup announcement for BDO 2014 was made, adding names like Primus, Bluejuice and CSS.

Responding to a query regarding ticket sales since the second lineup announcement, Maddah told the curious fan that sales were “nicely accelerating,” largely due to the additions of Primus and the reformation of desert rock legends Kyuss in the form of Vista Chino.

“There are 1 or 2 more to come,” added Maddah, though no further details were offered. Earlier today, it was confirmed that highly-anticipated Brooklyn indie group DIIV have dropped out of the BDO tour, citing work on their next album as the reason for the cancellation.

Meanwhile, details for Big Day Out sideshows have begun percolating, with grunge legends Mudhoney set to play a string of East Coast shows and Los Angeles five-piece Grouplove today tweeting that there was big news slated for tomorrow morning.
