Bastille Australian Tour 2014 Announced

UK indie rockers Bastille have today dropped the good news of an impending Aussie tour, with the Dan Smith-led outfit heading back for a series of headlining shows in June 2014, having only just sold out a string of venues around the country earlier this year.

The quartet have had an absolutely massive year, with their debut long play Bad Blood going straight to the top of the charts in the UK, while single Pompeii went three times platinum on the ARIA charts. They’ve also just dropped a special 2-disc edition, All The Bad Blood, which features the original album plus a second disc of highlights from the band’s mixtapes.

Bastille will bring their renowned live show to venues in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, with a Frontier presale taking place from 2:00pm AEDT on Monday, 2nd December for 24 hours before general public tickets go live on 9:00am AEDT on Wednesday, 4th December.

UPDATE: Bastille have announced Foxes and DJ Alison Wonderland as supports on their 2014 Aussie tour. Name-checked by Katy Perry as one to watch, 23-year-old Louisa Rose Allen a.k.a. Foxes has had a massive 2013, releasing her debut LP and charging up the Billboard charts.

Meanwhile, Alison Wonderland has spent the last 12 months continuously proving her metal as an EDM force to be reckoned with. Churning out highly-lauded sets across the country and the world, and securing spots at Splendour In The Grass, Stereosonic, Field Day, and more.
