Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi And Prince William Sing ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’

When Jon Bon Jovi asked Prince William to join him on stage at Kensington Palace to help him perform his 1986 hit Livin’ on a Prayer, the Duke of Cambridge had one condition: that the artist’s fellow performer, Taylor Swift, join them in the rendition. The rocker gleefully acquiesced.

Swift had performed earlier in the evening, at the event which was organised to help youth homelessness charity, Centrepoint, to which Prince William has given his patronage since 2005, and of whom his late mother Princess Diana was likewise a patron.

“This evening is so special…it is for a charity that as well as being very important to Prince William is also very important to me,” said Swift of the event, as reported by News Corp. Swift had kind words for the Prince after their meeting, saying, “He was very funny. I was really happy he was funny.”

While Bon Jovi was likewise enthusiastic about the event and its potential to help those in need, saying, “What’s important for me is to help break the cycle that leads to poverty,” before adding, “to be invited to highlight it in such illustrious surroundings couldn’t be better.”
