PREMIERE: KLP Drops New Track ‘Decide’

One of 2013’s rising talents, Sydney performer and producer KLP is poised to do even bigger things next year. Fresh from a triple j Unearthed win which nabbed her a spot on the Field Day 2014 lineup, not to mention contributing vox to What So Not‘s latest, Jaguar, KLP is seeing out the end of the year in style, dropping her latest track Decide!

The new tune is a fun turn for KLP, after she dropped some darker electro pop tunes and the roomy Slow Jam last year. Decide is classic summer throwback pop guaranteed to get sneakers shuffling, all booty-shakin’ bass line popping along under KLP’s multilayered vocals, recalling the best of Madonna’s early days and Goldfrapp’s less aloof party starters.

It’s exciting to know Kristy Lee Peters is still keeping the solo releases flowing too, after collaborating with big names Dcup, Satin Jackets (Germany) and Crayon (France) last year. After being tapped as one of inthemix‘s local producers to watch in 2014, we’re sure it won’t be long until there’s plenty more new stuff being added to the KLP catalogue as well.

Check out Decide below, and head on over to KLP’s SoundCloud and Facebook for more of the same.
