Noel And Liam Gallagher End Feud

Ever-duelling brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have reportedly reconciled at a family wedding in Ireland, ending their long-standing enmity, with the two now looking to open a bar together with their mum. The duo’s band, Oasis, infamously dissolved after the two came to blows before a show.

“Liam initially came up with the idea after a recent trip to Manchester with his mum Peggy,” a source told the Daily Star, via Contactmusic.com. “Then between them they thought Noel should also be brought on board. [They are] thinking about an indie rock-themed place which serves artisan food.”

The brothers are reportedly planning on calling their new pub and eatery ‘Champagne Supernova’ after the Oasis song of the same name from 1995’s (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, and are looking to finalise the deal at a venue near the Deansgate and Spinningfields areas of Manchester.

“The brothers are consulting their famous friends such as Russell Brand and Holly Willoughby for advice on the venue. They reckon a hot new bar could bring them together again,” the source added, corroborating reports released late last year that Noel was opening a bar with Russell Brand.

Of course it’s unclear what this means for an Oasis reunion, with Noel repeatedly denying rumours of possible shows and stating that he has no desire to reunite with the Britpop icons, while brother Liam has proved to be more keen on the idea, telling NME the band had “unfinished business.”
