Four Tet Shares Early Releases Via Bandcamp, Remixes Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’

Electronic master Four Tet (aka Kieran Hebden) has started his very own Bandcamp page, and has released a number of his recordings from the late 1990’s through the music website.

Four Tet has posted his debut album Dialogue to his page, as well as smaller releases Thirtysixtwentyfive, Glasshead and Misnomer. These now out-of-print releases have been made available digitally for the first time ever, making many fans eager to discover Hebden’s earlier works.

The layout and design of the Bandcamp page even pokes fun at streaming service Spotify and file-transfer website sendspace, which Hebden recently used to share previously unreleased material with fans. So make sure you give it a look.

Four Tet was also recently featured as part of the Beat This YouTube series, which challenges producers to record a track in 10 minutes. Using only a vinyl copy of Michael Jackson‘s 1982 album Thriller, Hebden uses his phenomenal production powers to create an awesome beat, and it’s almost magical watching it unfold in real time.
