Canberra-bred house duo The Aston Shuffle have finally announced the release of their highly-anticipated sophomore full-length effort. The album, Photographs, is due for release on Friday, 28th March and comes three years after the pair’s debut, Seventeen Past Midnight.
Photographs, available for pre-order at iTunes now, was recorded between Canberra and Sydney, Ulladulla and Mumbai, Los Angeles and London, and serves a musical scrapbook. Readers can get a taste of the new album by checking out the video for Tear It Down, below.

The Ninjas – Kill ‘Em All
Brisbane garage dwellers The Ninjas have followed-up the success of their buzzed-about debut single Yeah Yeah, which scored them opening slots with The Cribs, The Cairos, Eagle and The Worm, and Sticky Fingers, with Kill ‘Em All, picking up right where they left off.
Following a fall spent in California in 2012, singer Josh Stewart and guitar-basher Pat Ferris have become experts in serving up crude and ferocious slices of garage-infused post-punk that are brimming with the band’s unflappable attitude and ability to craft hooks.
