Bus Vipers Lonely Ghost

Canberra multi-instrumentalist and producer Daniel Ahern has released a new single under the moniker of Bus Vipers. The song is one of ambivalence – for a city and a closeness that the persona once had. It features broken guitar pedals, faint vocoder, and 909 drum sounds.

Mastered by Wade Gilmour (of The Finer Things label), the chorus pumps but is also restrained. Lonely Ghost builds on the garage-recorded psychedelic/surf demos that received play on both FBi and Triple J, moving closer toward the more considered approach to sonics that will feature on the first EP.
