The Ruminaters – Deadstuff

Written by Toby Smith on August 22, 2011

Since their formation in mid 2010, the ruminaters have gained a reputation for their reckless and edgy swamp like garage sound and rowdy live sets. With varied influences from the strokes and the white stripes to the clash and the libertines, the ruminaters play feel good tunes with an energetic and nostalgic
feel.

Mid 2011 sees the release of their first single “Deadstuff” that was largely a result of several recording session’s in the bedroom of Bell weather departments Jacob Moore.

Deadstuff typifies who the ruminaters are and what they do. With their beatnik surf sound, the ruminaters are only interested in intergalactic domination.

The Ruminaters will be playing at The Beresford Hotel, Surry Hills on August 27th with Ghostwood
