‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ Trailer Released

So it looks as though the recent bout of Marvel-franchise movies will outlive us all! The comic powerhouse turned mega studio have today unveiled the epic trailer for the sequel to 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger and, however you felt about the first that’s most likely how you’ll feel about the follow up, the aptly titled Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Judging by the brief trailer, we can tell that the film boasts astronomical production costs, easy humour, tight fitting costumes and of course violence. Not hectic violence, but enough to keep Middle America on the edge of their seat, without falling off. The Winter Soldier seems to be a lot ‘darker’ then it’s predecessor which could be just what the doctor ordered. But don’t worry – The Captain seems to have held on to all his one-liners.

Marvel have done a good job cramming as many of their characters in to the film as they could, with other Avengers members making appearances. Worthy of note is the addition of one of our most successful acting exports Callan Mulvey who you may remember from Rush, or perhaps Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms, or even Underbelly. Was he in Home And Away? I feel as though he was. Anyway.

The film hits UK cinemas on Wednesday, 26th March so we can expect it to arrive Down Under sometime around then.
