Music – A Performance-Enhancing Drug?

Those sports nuts at ESPN have posted an article suggesting that music could be considered a performance-enhancing drug.

The article refers to the 2010 book Inside Sport Psychology by Costas Karageorghis and Peter Terry, which claims that an athlete’s performance could be boosted by up to 15 percent, depending on the kind of music they are listening to.
