Russell Brand Announces Australian Stand-up Tour, Nov/Dec  2012

Funny guy, movie star and frontman to fictitious band Infant Sorrow Aldous Snow aka Russell Brand is headed towards Australia later this year, to tour his particular brand of comedy with a five-date tour stretching from November to December.

As entertaining as Brand is in comedy sensations Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek, he is perhaps even more engaging when just ranting without the limitations of a script. The upcoming tour is titled I Am a Walrus, presumably a play on The Beatles’ I Am The Walrus. It’s a safe bet that tickets will sell out fast, so if you’re keen to get ‘Brand-ed’ (sorry, it’s been a rough week) be ready at 9am on September 25 when tickets go on sale.
