Here’s something to get all comic-con attendees’ knickers in a knot and all Marvel fans to squeal with excitement. The trailer for one of the most anticipated film releases of 2012 was aired during the American Superbowl yesterday. Not just the third Iron Man, or a new Hulk Film, a follow up to Captain America or the sequel to the 2011 release of Thor, but a movie that is the new addition for a vast majority of Marvel Superheros.
Consisting of Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. The Avengers is sure to be one of the highlights of the next set of awards ceremonies.
The story line, which is somewhat ambiguous, sees the evil brother of Thor touch down to earth to try and cause some havoc. However, instead of one superhero defeating the villain and saving the day, it’s a Marvel hero seminar as the best of the best team up to make this movie truly sensational.
