Watch: The Dark Knight Rises Official Trailer Released

Written by Brayden Darke on December 20, 2011

The trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, has now been released. As expected, it looks just as dark and serious as the previous two.

This time around we get Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle aka. Catwoman, Tom Hardy as Bane, and Michael Caine is taking on his excellent role as Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred.

Set eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to their limits, forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent’s crimes.
