After hundreds of entries and the premiere of films by all 16 finalists this evening, Nick Clifford has taken the honours at Tropfest 2013 with his short film We’ve All Been There.
The announcement was made a short time ago at the official event at The Domain in Sydney, and beamed across live sites in Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Wollongong, Hobart and Surfers Paradise.
Along with the title of winner at one of the world’s biggest short film festivals, Nick Clifford has scored himself some pretty awesome prizes, including an all new 2012 Toyota Corolla Levin ZR, $10,000 cash, a Nikon D800 camera and stacks of lenses and accessories, and a trip to Los Angeles for a week of meetings with film industry executives.
Earlier in the night, Round The Corner, MEG MAC, Clubfeet and Kate Miller-Heidke all gave live performances.
