Feeds Fresh Faces: From Oslo

Meet From Oslo, the latest upcoming Australian artist featured as part of our Fresh Faces series focusing on emerging local talent.

Having just announced the release of their self titled EP today, the Melbourne punk duo are also excited to be the latest signees to 123 Agency‘s booking roster. Set to be touring up the east coast come June and July visiting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Hobart promoting the album, signing on with the bookings agency couldn’t have come at a better time for the young band.

Their latest single, No Sound, has been getting rave reviews from media and fans alike since the band dropped it, gaining traction on that most hallowed of local hit-making institutions triple j and receiving a 4-star review from the Oracle at Delphi himself Richard Dick Kingsmill.

“They have the hooks to match the power” he said, with his number 2 Nick Findlay chiming in to describe the song as “sing-a-long grunge punk that gets stronger after each spin”.

The station love them so much their praise even ended up landing them a support for Kingswood (Kingswood/Kingsmill; coincidence?).

Now part of the 123 Agency family you can be sure to see a lot more of these punks on club and festival stages around the country.

You can catch them on their east coast tour, with full tour details here. In the meantime check out the band’s video for ‘No Sound’ below.
