Jona Weinhofen’s I Killed The Prom Queen Euro Tour Recap

Total road dogs I Killed The Prom Queen have spend much of the recent past zig-zagging their way through Europe as part of the Impericon Progression tour. Teaming up with The Devil Wears Prada and The Ghost Inside, the band left havoc in their wake, and checked-in to Music Feeds with the photographic evidence.

The band have been hitting the road in support of their latest album Beloved, the first full-length release from the group in some years. It’s clear the world was ready for another IKPTQ album as the band’s support is now at an all-time high.

Guitarist and all-round top bloke Jona Weinhofen was kind enough to drop us a line to tell about the tour, and guide us through these awesome shots from the band’s photographer friend Alexey Makhov:

“We’ve just about come to the end of the Impericon Progression tour in Europe and it has been an absolute blast. IKTPQ have been lucky enough to share a bus with our good friends The Devil Wears Prada and The Ghost Inside and playing amazing shows all across Europe and the UK with these guys.

We’ve also reunited with our very old friends in Caliban, with whom we shared our very first USA tour back in 2004 and also our first ever European tour in 2007. it’s awesome to see them killing it again and it has been super fun sharing the stages with them.

Opening the tour was Switzerland’s Breakdown Of Sanity. These guys definitely gave us some competition and made it difficult to hit the stage following their act. They’re a relatively new band, however they already have a strong and dedicated fan base across Europe and we look forward to touring with them again in future.

Throughout this tour we have also been joined by our photographer friend Alexey Makhov, whom we met in Russia last year on IKTPQ’s first ever Russian tour. Alexey is a super talented young lad and he captured some amazing moments during our live shows. Enjoy!”
