Now a couple of shows into their It’s a Fine Line tour – their last Australian shows for 2013 – and well on their way to dropping a brand-new album we caught up with one half of the indie pop duo Gypsy & The Cat, Xavier Bacash.
Speaking to Music Feeds from a studio in regional Victoria, Bacash gives us some strong insight into what we can expect from the band’s second album. Choosing the best features from their previous releases, the band have refined their sound, injecting a healthy dose of ’90s goodness for good measure. The release will be independent of any major label influence, something we talk about in depth as Bacash explains his contempt towards the current system.
