Aussie hip-hop duo Hermitude are back in the studio, working on a follow up to 2012’s well-received album HyperParadise. Music Feeds’ very own Mike Hohnen spoke to one side of the equation, Angus Stuart (aka Elgusto) for this edition of Music Feeds Podcast.
In contrast to the mostly instrumental HyperParadise, Stuart declares that he and his musical partner in crime Luke Dubber (aka Luke Dubs) are now more open to a balance between the instrumental and vocal sides of their sound, adding that they “don’t want to write the same record twice”.
Stuart reveals that the duo are hoping to release their next album mid way through 2014, an ambitious yet exciting prospect given how busy the boys have been this year, touring for almost two years following the release of HyperParadise. Stuart also admits that they might test-run a new track at Falls Festival later this month.
