PREMIERE: The Avenue Drop Hypnotic New Synth-Pop EP ‘Names’

Written by Emmy Mack on February 14, 2018

Melbourne new wave rockers The Avenue have returned with an ambitious new EP dubbed simply, Names.

The band’s sophomore offering sees them meld ’80s-inspired synth pop with modern post-rock to create a unique sound that will take you from the dance floor to the mosh pit to relaxing poolside with your earphones cranked.

Personified by hypnotic, reverb-soaked musical tapestries, undulating guitar lines and car-radio pop melodies, The Avenue’s five-track newbie is premiering exclusively via Music Feeds below.

The lads will also be hitting the road for an East Coast tour in support of the release, and you can catch those dates below as well.
