PREMIERE: Sydney Duo RedHook Drop Epic Horror-Fantasy Clip For ‘Minute On Fire’

Sydney alternative heavy duo RedHook have been making serious noise with their powerful debut single ‘Minute On Fire’, and they’ve now dropped an equally powerful (and cinematic) video for the song.

Set up as part of a bigger story, the video is an artistic retelling of how the two members of RedHook — Craig Wilkinson and lead vocalist (and Music Feeds reporter) Emmy Mack — first met. It’s a video that’s incredibly stirring, evoking some serious deep-seeded emotions, and it’s left us absolutely frothing for more.

The video, directed by the bandmates themselves in collaboration with Her Name Is Murder Productions (Amity Affliction, Ocean Grove), comes from a very real place, according to Emmy Mack (who FYI also writes for us here at Music Feeds!)

“My bandmate Craig and I both struggle heavily with our mental health,” she says.

“At times it can seem like a constant losing battle, like these demons are relentlessly screaming negative thoughts inside our heads.

“But listening to and creating music is what has helped us find the strength to keep going, and ultimately, to drown those f*ckers out.”

To celebrate their huge debut, RedHook are playing a free show this Saturday, 1st September alongside fellow Sydney rockers Dear Seattle.
