    Amnesty Apologises To Iggy Pop For Justin Bieber “Torture” Ad

    The Belgian branch of human rights organisation Amnesty International has publicly apologised to Godfather of punk Iggy Pop for featuring his image in a controversial new anti-torture campaign without his permission. The original advertisement’s image featured the singer’s bloodied and beaten face, accompanied by the quote: “The future of rock & roll is Justin Bieber“.

    The Gaslight Anthem Begin New Album – Cover Bob Dylan For Human Rights

    After signing to Mercury Records in October 2011, The Gaslight Anthem have covered Bob Dylan in the lead up to recording their first major label debut. Chimes of Freedom is an Amnesty International compilation, which boasts 76 Bob Dylan covers over four discs. To be released on February 3, 2012, the compilation celebrates the 50th anniversary of human rights foundations.
