The Arctic Monkeys were booked to bring in the new year at the Falls Festival in Lorne, Victoria. Only problem was, someone forgot to tell them they were supposed to run the midnight countdown.
Falls Festival kicked off in Lorne yesterday and punters are now pouring into the festival site at Marion Bay in Tasmania. Police have issued a warning to festival goers confirming that they will have sniffer dogs and random breath testing units operating at the entrance to the festival.

After a month of campaigning throughout October from media and musicians alike, the polls are closed and the results are in.
