2016 ticket-holders who haven’t been refunded will apparently receive free entry.
A very cryptic Facebook post seems to announce its return.
It may be all over for the ill-fated festival.
Organisers of the cancelled festival allegedly owe ticketing company TryBooking over $400,000.
Non-treya, no refunds
Things still remain pretty murky and punters want answers.
The organisers are not responding to requests while the ticket outlet are unsure if they’re legally responsible to issue them.
The festival was cancelled because of lack of organisation and infrastructure, the council claims.
“We’re so sorry for this and are beyond devastated.”
The festival has not received a permit to legally go ahead but has plans to kick off at a slightly different location this weekend.
Axed aussie festival organisers will be fighting council til the bitter end.
