The Australian version of the Rewind 80s Festival has been cancelled. Organisers have posted a comment on the festivals website stating Rewind Cancelled Please Contact Your Ticket Agent for a Refund. A full statement has yet to be released. The cancellation comes after controversy last week about the sudden change of location for the festival.

The Department of Fair Trading are investigating The Rewind Festival after festival organisers announced they would be moving the circus to Sydney, downgrading the line-up and not refunding tickets.
Rewind 80s Festival will now make its Australian debut at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on October 29th and 30th . Originally scheduled to be staged at the Blue Scope Fields in Kembla Grange near Wollongong as a two-day camping festival, it was deduced that the infrastructure at the current venue would no longer be suitable given the current climatic conditions.
