12 Injured In Twin Shadow Tour Bus Crash

The tour bus of Brooklyn musician Twin Shadow was involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Colorado yesterday, which left 12 people injured.

According to The Denver Post, the tour bus carrying Twin Shadow crew members was involved in a four-vehicle crash on a foggy Denver highway Friday morning, involving two buses, two semi-tractor trailers and a motor home. The crash reportedly occurred when the tour bus hit the back of one of the semis while it was stopped in traffic.

The highway was shut down and 12 people have reportedly been transported from the accident site to a hospital. A Post reporter at the scene has been was tweeting live updates and says that the injuries were sustained by people in the crew bus, while Twin Shadow and members of the band were in another bus. Photos from the site show the front of one of the bus completely mangled. The bus driver, 41-year-old John Crawford, was brought to the hospital with serious injuries. The 11 other people aboard that bus had minor to moderate injuries.

The Denver state patrol has cited dense fog as being a factor in the crash. “No charges have been filed but the case remains open,” officials said in a statement.
