Having recently played shows with The Temper Trap, The Decemberists, The Cribs, and John Cale – not to mention playing St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival nationally – Sydney’s Bridezilla will now take to the road with The Mess Hall and Cabins for an enormous national tour!
Hitting all major capital cities and a handful of regional hubs, the tour will give audiences across the country a chance to experience the group’s blend of country-noir and darkened outsider-pop.
The tour follows a magnificent year for the five-piece, which saw their debut album ‘The First Dance’ recognised in Best Of 2009 lists by publications including MAG, Rolling Stone and Mess & Noise. Bridezilla were also voted by Australian music bloggers, via A Reminder’s annual survey, as the #2 Australian/New Zealand Band Of 2009 – beating out the likes of The Drones, The Middle East and Eddy Current Suppression Ring!
