This year, Run The Jewels and Nas amongst others have got on board with the ugly Christmas sweater merch but US rapper 2 Chainz has just trumped them all.
He’s also made an ugly Christmas sweater but unless you’re rolling in gold this year, it’s unlikely that you’re going to be wearing it on Christmas day.
He’s boasting that he’s got, “the most expensive ugly Christmas sweater,” and he’s not wrong either, flogging it for a ridiculous $90,000 USD.
The sweater has 50 carats in diamonds and also 250 grams of gold. To be honest, it looks pretty lush.
It’s not some kind of stunt to make the rapper a few extra dollar bills before Christmas though. He’s going to be giving all the proceeds from it to the T.R.U Foundation which benefits veterans, arts education programs, and disabled children.
So, if you’ve got a spare $90K lying around, this is probably the best use for it. Although, we hate to break it to you but it’s actually sold out.
The good news is, he’s also selling ones that are a little more affordable at a price of $20.
