A Friendly Reminder – Peats Ridge Tix On Sale Aug 20

Written by Mike Hohnen on August 16, 2012

It’s crazy to think it’s that time of year already to start planning your NYE; all the more reason to get your act together and, well, start planning!

Now in its 9th year, Peats Ridge has earned a rep as one of the greatest ways to see the new year in. Each year the attendance grows exponentially, and with an approximate 10,000 per day at last year’s gig, it’s anyone’s guess how many will be chasing tickets to this one.

As Director Matt Grant put it: “This year is going to be amazing for Peats, and with John Butler Trio headlining, we are expecting tickets to go quicker than ever before”. JBT, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, The Black Seeds, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and a Friendly Fires DJ set are just a handful of reasons why we thought we’d give you a cheeky reminder so you don’t miss out.

Tickets will be up for grabs Monday, August 20 from 10:00am sharp only via the Peats Ridge website. Adult passes will set you back $340.

If the musical lineup doesn’t sell you 100%, don’t forget about all the art installations, kooky venues, multimedia monuments, theatre, dance, drum circles, and just the general shenanigans the aforementioned will inspire. It truly is a major life experience, far more so than any nightclub or beach party you were thinking of going to.

So as the organizers put it: “Don’t Kick Yourself, Kick the New Year Off with John Butler Trio Instead”

Monday August 20, 10am. Put it in your calendar. Check out all the fine details below.
