A New Leaked Video Shows Tool Are Indeed Recording Their New Album

Like the rest of the world, we’ve been desperately following the “Where The Fuck Is Tool‘s Next Album?” saga and, after many misdirections, disappointments and overall silence, things are finally starting to piece together with a new leaked video that shows, if for nothing else, that an album is being recorded.

The last we heard, frontman Maynard James Keenan said they had music was scheduled for a 2019 release, and this new leaked video could certainly cement that statement.

Guitarist Adam Jones took to Instagram live to film, or rather record the sound of, him working on his contributions to the upcoming, mysterious record and a few fans managed to capture the full video, over 20 minutes long.

While we truly have no clue when the album is coming, or frankly if it will come at all, given the band’s conflicting statements, but at least this shows that something is indeed coming. Of course, it’s been what feels like centuries since Tool’s last album, 10,000 Days, which was released back in 2006.
