Website Letters of Note has found a letter from a young Dave Grohl, way back when he was a young entrepreneur (and artist) compiling and selling mixtapes with his friends at the age of 15.
In the letter he writes to a band asking if he can have some tracks for an upcoming compilation called “John Denvers Nightmare”. He seems pretty confident about the process of putting together the tape, as well as being able to sell them at local the D.C shows.
