A$AP Rocky Opens Up About New Zealand Elevator Attack

A$AP Rocky has shed more light on what went down inside a New Zealand elevator prior to his recent show in Auckland.

TMZ had reported that the rapper was set upon by a group of men yelling “Fuck A$AP!” who punched him in the face and head, before security broke things up.

Despite the biffo, Rocky went on to play his Auckland concert and posted a Twitter update to let fans know that he was OK.

“LIL SCUFFLE , STILL PRETTY, STILL HANDSOME , STILL FUCCKIN YO BITCH TOO,” he wrote. “DEFENSE SQUD DONT TRIP… LOVE 2 AUCKLAND !”

A$AP has since opened up about what exactly happened during the elevator incident, describing it to the Associated Press as a “fist exchange” and explaining that he and the members of his posse all came away unhurt.

“We didn’t press no charges on nobody. They didn’t press any charges on us. Everybody good,” he said.

Guess that settles that.

Meanwhile, footage has emerged of the Harlem rapper leading his Sydney crowd in a “bring Tyler” chant, calling for Tyler, The Creator‘s self-declared Australian tour “ban” to be overturned.
