A$AP Rocky Reportedly Got Beaten Up In A Hotel Elevator Before His New Zealand Show

A$AP Rocky has reportedly been attacked in the elevator of a New Zealand hotel, prior to his show in Auckland.

According to TMZthis is how it all went down:

The rapper was staying at the city’s Pullman Hotel and was stepping into the elevator with some girls at around 3am, the morning before his show, when three men also tried to enter.

Rocky told them there was no room left, and they jumped him, punching him in the head and the face while yelling “Fuck A$AP!”

Hotel security came and broke things up, and the police arrived soon after and arrested one of Rocky’s alleged assailants for assault and resisting arrest.

If the reports are accurate, then Rocky can’t have been hurt too badly. Because he went on to play his Vector Arena concert to a rave review from The NZ Heraldwhich dubbed his performance “A walloping rap party that felt more like a hyper-real rave than a classic rap concert”.

Then again, maybe he just pulled a bit of a Dave Grohl?

A$AP Rocky’s NZ dates come smack-band in the middle of his Australian Tour alongside special guest Raury, which includes a headlining slot at the roving underagers-only festival Good Life.
